The mountain is well known for the monkeys which are happy to be fed bananas and all manner of fruit – which is of course available from the many vendors at the entrance and at the top of the mountain.
Khaow Sam Muk is in the province of Chonburi, near Bang Saen and is easy to get to from most places in east Thailand and is in easy reach of Bangkok.
One hour from Bkk – and just a few minute from bang Sae or nearby Sriracha.
The Monkey Mountain is open to the public 24 hours a day.
But of course daylight hour are best because during the night the monkeys hide in the woodland – going back to their place of living.
Khaow Sam Muk is good for family and kids in particular enjoy feeding the monkeys.
