Rayong Province in East Thailand

Rayong is located on the East Coast of Thailand, about 200 Kilometres from Bangkok. It has 100 Kilometres of coastline, making Rayong an important fishing and seafood area. The Sea bordering Rayong is the Gulf of Thailand.

Many of the local villages carry out fishing and subsequently the drying, processing and packaging of the 'catch'.  So, Rayong is one of the most important suppliers of fish and seafood to the Eastern area of Thailand.
